Bowater paper Cargo Handling

| I am delighted to present a page dedicated to the cargo handling onboard the Bowater paper ships. At the moment there are a collection of photographs sent to me by Thomas Kearsey. Tom Kearsey sailed with the Bowater Steamship Co as an apprentice and then as a deck officer between 1962 and 1970. Fortunately for us all he took many photographs of his times on the ships. Tom is writing an essay to accompany the photographs, which I will put on the website as soon as I get it. | ||||||||||||
