| These are the ships of the Clan Line that my Dad sailed on. At first he did this reluctantly and his claim to fame is that he was the last Bowater officer to sail on one of British& Commonwealths vessels. However, in hinsight I think he would agree that his fear were unfounded.
Many of the crews were Indian which suited my Dad as it meant that he could have a decent curry, something he had mist since leaving his place of birth, Calcutta, |
